BIO
Edwin Hidalgo.
Ecuadorian musician and composer, who started his musical path at the age of 12. Edwin got graduated as a clasical and jazz guitar at 'Mozarte' Conservatorium in Quito - Ecuador where he had some of the finest mentors in Ecuador such as; Donald Régnier, Julio Andrade and Omar Toral.
Edwin's effort for seeking music as life style; took him to Berklee College of Music, where he was awarded with a full scholarship and afterwards, he graduated with a Cum Laude distinction as Film Composer in the same program that Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings) and Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones) studied. As guitar player at Berklee College of Music, Edwin studied with the great guitarist Freedie Bryant. He played in the Afro cuban/ Latin Jazz ensamble lead by Rebbecca Cline and The Big Band lead by John Pierce.
Edwin obtained a Master Degree in Composing for Film at the prestigious Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he could collaborate with great documentary and fiction directors from the Netherlands Film Academy.
